Dr. Affatigato maintains a very active research program that involves close to ten undergraduate students every summer, and he is also the Site Director of Coe's Research Experiences for Undergraduates site, one of the few national NSF sites at a small college. He has been involved with the Glass and Optical Materials Division of the American Ceramic Society for over a decade, and is currently serving as Vice Chair of the Division. Show Less
