Rup Kumar Roy started his carrier with The Agricultural-Horticultural Society of India, Alipore, Kolkata in 1983 as Asstt. Secretary and Horticulturist. He joined Botanic Garden, CSIR-National Botanical Research Institute, Lucknow in 1989 as Scientist and still continuing as Principal Scientist.
