Prof. Genxi Li received his B.Sc. in Polymer Chem., MSc. and Ph.D. in Analytical Chemistry from the Chemistry Department at Nanjing University, China in 1988, 1991, and 1994, respectively before serving as a postdoctoral researcher at the University’s Biochemistry Department. His research interests include bioanalysis, electroanalysis, biosensors, nano-biology, and related areas. He served as Chair of the Biochemistry Department at Nanjing University from 1999 to 2010, and as Dean of the School of Life Sciences at Shanghai University from 2008 to 2011. He is now the Vice-President and Secretary-General of the Chinese Protein Society and a member of the Council of the Biophysical Society of China, the Chinese Society of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, the Committee for Chemical Sensors, and the China Instrument & Control Society.
