These individuals work for a variety of universities, federal and state agencies and private companies, making this book a broad collaboration of experts on the fish species of Kansas. Joseph R. Tomelleri, an avid fisherman and naturalist, has travelled more than 200,000 miles over the past twenty-five years to collect live fishes. His illustrations have appeared in over a thousand places, including magazines, advertisements, greeting cards, t-shirts, furniture, posters, trading cards, identification guides and thirty books.
